Abyssius Murkraken My favorite of the three albums with this vocalist (Also, the last with him). A lot more production and coordination between all the elements working well to paint one hell of a picture. Favorite track: Chaos Attributes.

Swietowit11 This fantastic album marks what I feel to be the end of the first era. The first four albums, while maintaining an individual sound, display more of an influence from symphonic black metal forbears like Dimmu and Emperor. With their next album, "Wreath of Thevetat", they would develop a soaringly glorious, emotional, individualized take on the subgenre. Still, like anything else by this band, this is mandatory listening. Favorite track: Soulquake.

about

CUT 035

Fourth album. Majestic, melancholic and yet aggressive black metal!

Alghazanth is an artistic entity channeling the twin stream of all-devouring Darkness and the profound Enlightenment that lies hidden therein. The core of this beast is Black Metal, majestic atmosphere forms the flesh around its bones and Occult Satanism runs through its veins. Though its faces have been many and the shape has shifted often, its current manifestation harbours five damned souls in its flaming heart.
